The one where Mike wheedles Elly into letting him drive her car so he can drive SCARY GIRL WHO I'M NOT JEALOUS OF 2.0.
Synopsis: Mike exploits Elly's dread of being disliked in order to do an end run around her wanting him to stay home now that she has an idea of where he's going to be and who he's going to be with and is proud of it.
Summary: This is where the "You just OUGHTA!!!" thing gets its start: Elly's fear of actually doing something about a real problem. If she whines that children just should do things she wants without explaining why, it magically becomes their fault when they don't do it. Also, Mike should have been less definite about things. If Elly has to know about what something is, her first impulse is to shut it down so she doesn't have to think.
