The one where John is unpleasantly surprised by the fact that Mike is the loudest protestor.
Panel 1: We find ourselves watching a news story about high school students blocking rush hour traffic.
Panel 2: The reason for the protest is the recent thirty percent hike in student bus fares. (This tells us that Lynn half-remembered what was going on when she was a follower.)
Panel 3: The reporter singles out the loudest of the protestors as the person he's going to feed dialogue to. It is, of course, Michel.
Panel 4: We switch focus to John doing a Danny Thomas spit take.
Summary: This is what animates things: John's freaking out because Mike "lied" and also because his own reputation might take a hit.
