London Bridge Is Down 1926-2022
By now, you will no doubt have heard of the passing of Elizabeth The Second and the transition to the reign of Charles The Third. I post this in an effort to explain what it means to a man who has known only one sovereign. Think of it as 9/11 and the assassination of JFK and a declaration of war put in a blender and poured out into a huge bloody crisis. Here's what I know so far:
His Majesty sent out a tweet saying that he's going to take to the throne with the ill omened name of Charles.
Will and Kate are the new Prince and Princess of Wales.
This means that his wizened visage will be on the coinage and the twenty dollar bill starting next year. (This means ELIZABETH II R[EGINA] will be replaced with CAROLUS III R[EX])
