The one where April is BAD! and NAUGHTY! because someone has to take the fall for Elly having her head up her arse.
Panel 1: For some reason, Insufficiently Supervised April answers the phone and the caller asks if her mother is in. April says Uh-huh.
Panel 2a: When the caller asks where she is, April says "Inna house". Since she doesn't know what Elly is doing, the caller asks her again and Aypo gots nuffin'.
Panel 2b: The caller sets up the 'joke' by telling April to put the phone down and find her mother.
Panel 3: April complies the only way she knows how: by putting the handset back on the phone and cutting off Mystery Idiot.
Panel 4: She then latches onto Elly as she's doing her Endless Freaking Laundry.
Summary: We see what Lynn thinks a child is reacting to an unfamiliar situation the only way she knows. She doesn't know what to do with a telephone and shouldn't be blamed for things. Lynn is a joyless idiot who thinks that April wants to destroy Elly's career or image or whatever because she's too stupid to tell April "You cannot answer the phone yet because you are too young."
Also, in the real 2022, Incredibly Rude Guy would be phoning Elly's hip pocket and Aypo would be asking why Mum--mum's leg buzzes in Lynn's idea of baby talk.
