The one where Connie goes from shrill to down-right stooopid.
Panel 1: About five seconds later, we find Elly's zombie-like slumber disturbed by a phone call.
Panel 2: Connie is on the other end distancing herself from Greg's bigotry because (as is always with the interrupt-driven) she cannot connect her tantrum with his reaction and wonders if Lawrence is there. Since he isn't strangling Mike to death for getting his ass bounced, all signs point to no.
Panel 3: Elly can't brain because she needs ten hours sleep after a busy day of feeling sorry for herself but she'll check.
Panel 4: She accidentally unplugs the landline after saying she'll get right back to her.
Summary: It works out the best for Connie that she did do something useless like tag in the second worst mother in the woooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrlllllllld. Anyone else would tear her a structurally superfluous new BEhind for letting her asshole husband act like a massive gaping dickhole and not doing shit to stop him.
