Panel 1: After not wanting to think about having to end up marrying Awfulny, we find Liz and Dawn under a tree talking about Fate and Faith and other reasons for being smugly passive. Destiny is cool because if Lynn hadn't wanted to honor her ethnic friends by putting them in her strip, they never would have met.
Panel 2: The need for little people in a big big world to make themselves into the protagonist of the human race has Dawn say that if their parents had never met, they wouldn't be here to run their mouths about the destiny that willed them into being.
Panel 3: Life isn't just random bullshit beyond our control, says Liz. She and Dawn were destined to be together in this place and at this time. This windy bullshit impresses Dawn because it has the desired effect of puffing up a puny anonym no one will remember in a hundred years' time.
Panel 4: They then agree that it's great that they like one another.
Summary: Trusting in Fate and Faith and Destiny is what frog-marched Liz down the aisle with another destructive nincompoop. Don't cry for her....she's already dead.
