The one where Marian reminds us where Elly gets that inability to admit that her kids are growing up from.
Panel 1: Now that the trip out West is winding down, we see Phil going through a checklist of tourist crap he wants to do before going back home. He wants to swing on the suspension bridge, whine because they tore down their old school, and watch a much larger (and thus bad because it's not the size they remember) ferry dock at Horseshoe Bay.
Panel 2: Elly wants to scream and holler because her old friends either don't remember her or look better than she does, ride the chairlift, walk through Stanley Park and taunt zoo animals by eating a hot dog so as if to say "Nyaaaaa!!! I'm eating your relatives and you can't stop me!!!"
Panel 3: As they leave, Phil tells Marian that he and Elly want to relive a few scenes from their childhood. She says "That's nice, dear."
Panel 4: She more or less goes along with being nostalgic by acting as if she's telling teenage children what to do. This astonishes them because they don't know that Marian has the same hard time seeing her kids as adults that Elly does with Mike, Liz and April.
Summary: What this leads to is Phil and Elly not handling change and mortality at all well.
