The one where John and Elly's inability to communicate means that she's all upset because he cooked the steaks 'too early'.
Panel 1: We find ourselves watching John ask Mike if he thinks that the steaks are ready when he should be doing something weird that would never occur to him and ask Elly how long until she's ready. Mike says that they are.
Panel 2: John wonders if they're too pink and Mike says that they're not.
Panel 3: He again asks Mike what he thinks and Mike says that they're ready.
Panel 4: Since Elly has noooooo help and nooooo time for herself (because she's making a big production number of making the salad), John has cooked the steaks 'too early'.
Summary: It would have been wicked easy to buy a salad or to bake some potatoes on the grill. Elly doesn't do easy because she wants to be respected. She doesn't realize that doing easy would get her respect. Ah, well. Off to Vancouver to wallow in nostalgia and grudges.
