Snarky Candiru2

Thursday, 3 August 2020

The one that has Elly observe that children don't much like to be left alone.

(Original Publication Date, 9 September 1991)

Panel 1: We find ourselves watching April say 'drool' as she hangs limply in her jolly jumper because there's no one in sight. This attracts Farley's attention.

Panel 2: The part of me that worries a whole lot about unattended infants and dogs goes into full tile "Holy Shit!" mode when Farley prods April's back.

Panel 3: So excited is she to finally have company, she bounces up and down happily in her jolly jumper and confuses the dog.

Panel 4: When Farley saunters off, Elly thought-bubbles "I guess one performs best for an audience."

Summary: Kids don't like being ignored or neglected? Gee....whodathunkit? Not Elly. She goes right back to thinking that children are evil parasites that steal attention after this.
