The one where Danny reinforces Lynn's message of never letting a person who's disappointed you what you actually feel.

(Original Publication Date, 12 August 1991)

Panel 1: We find ourselves watching Dan comment on the fact that it's raining buckets today: "Darn! Look at it out there! For weeks, we've been needing rain and now that the crop's in, down she comes." (Insert comment about hidden bias that anything feminine is something incapable of acting on its own volition here.)

Panel 2: When Mike asks if it angers him, Dan says that it does but what is he to do? Yell at the sky> (Hint: he probably does.)

Panel 3: He then says that when the sky lets you down, that's life but when people let you down, that's different. Mike agrees and says that you can yell at people.

Panel 4: Dan gives him truly unhelpful advice and says that the trouble is that doing so is almost as good as yelling at the sky.

Summary: This leads us to why Martha never actually writes back: Mike doesn't tell her until it's almost too late what he actually feels. Also, we're dealing with Lynn's refusal to let people know what they're doing to bother her because it's a waste of time. They KNOW what they did without her having to tell her.
