The one in which Elly tells Anne that all she remembers from raising Mike and Liz is how cute babies are.

(Original Publication Date, 25 April 1991)

Panel 1: We find ourselves at Anne's place watching Elly complain that she'd forgotten what it's like to be the mother of a newborn. She'd forgotten how hard it is to get up every three hours at night all night long.

Panel 2: She'd forgotten how your whole world revolves around the baby, how much time they take and how much work they are.

She'd also forgotten dumping the baby on a child as soon as possible but that's not material today.

Panel 3: What is material is Anne gushing about how cute they are.

Panel 4: Elly gets bleary-eyed with despair when she says "That, I remember."

Summary: Back when Richard was small, Elly made a nasty comment about babies being cute on purpose to keep from getting killed. That warm and lovely sentiment still colours Lynn's feelings about kids.
