Gordon and more of his fantasies about Allyson Creemore

Panel 1: In Gordon’s dream, Allyson tries to scratch her nose with the end of the brim of Gordon’s trucker hat (the sign of true love), and confesses there is something she has wanted to tell him for months but she was too afraid and shy.  Gordon responds the way you would expect a man to respond if his creator failed to draw a mouth on him.

Panel 2: In Gordon’s dream, Allyson confesses, “I love you, Gordon!”  and magically Gordon is wearing a short sleeve shirt and he has big muscular arms that enfold Allyson close to him as if he is about to eat her hair?  Gordon says, “Allyson, if only you knew how much I…”  Sadly, we will not find out what dream Gordon planned to say, but it is easy to guess.   Allyson, if only you knew how much I…:

  1. Like to work out with these giant, beefy, brawny, dream arms of mine.

  2. Like to hear girls tell me they love me.

  3. Wish my hat looked this good all the time.

  4. Weigh you would be astonished at how much more muscle weighs than fat.

  5. Stare at your picture in the yearbook and think these same thoughts.

Panel 3: Even in his dreams, Gordon realizes talking is his weak point and he dreams Allyson shuts him up with a kiss.

Panel 4: It looks like Gordon is riding in the front with the taxi driver who is going to throw him out the moment they reach $12 in fees.  “Who says television kills the imagination?!!”  I would say given what Gordon is imagining, we know what kind of television program Gordon likes to watch.  Nevertheless, to answer Gordon’s question, we must read the poem “Television” by Roald Dahl.

Quoting the crucial part:

IT ROTS THE SENSE IN THE HEAD!
IT KILLS IMAGINATION DEAD!
IT CLOGS AND CLUTTERS UP THE MIND!
IT MAKES A CHILD SO DULL AND BLIND
HE CAN NO LONGER UNDERSTAND
A FANTASY, A FAIRYLAND!
HIS BRAIN BECOMES AS SOFT AS CHEESE!
HIS POWERS OF THINKING RUST AND FREEZE!
HE CANNOT THINK -- HE ONLY SEES!

Summary: Gordon wants a girl who loves him and kisses him before he can say something stupid.   That sounds a little like Tracy.
