Snarky Candiru2

Wednesday, 6 February 2013

Mike tells his 'friends' that he doesn't actually hate Deanna as much as he hates being bugged about it. Janice responds by musing on how nice it must be to be popular.

(Strip Number 546, Original Publication Date, 8 February 1984)

Panel 1: Having watching Deanna storm off, Darryl tells Mike that he didn't hafta tell her that he hated her.

Panel 2: Mike says that he doesn't hate Deanna; they're just always buggin'him about it an'it slipped out, that's all.

Panel 3: Gordon says "Boy! Lookit her GO!" and Lawrence notices how mad she is.

Panel 4: As Mike slumps his shoulders in defeat, Janice sighs and says it must be nice to be so popular.

Summary: Well, it has its down side. We'll find that out in twenty years or so when she has to defend every stupid decision he makes to her mother.

The Aging of Joanie continues and  HOLY CRAP!  THAT"S APRIL PATTERSON!  Look as her hair.  No one else wears it that way.

And no one but a Patterson would be so insensitive and keep talking.  Way to go, Tru!
