Snarky Candiru2

Thursday, 28 June 2012

Mike has a distinct dislike of the one and only example of forethought that John and Elly had when planning this pointless fiasco of a family trip. He goes so far as to compare boarding Farley at a kennel to putting him in jail. It's both sad to see and an occasion for a nasty remark which I'll get to in the summary.

(Strip Number 433, Original Publication Date, 30 June 1983)

Panel 1: As they continue packing, Mike asks Elly if they hafta put Farley in a kennel.

Panel 2: Elly tells him that he'd just get in the way on the farm.

Panel 3: She also tells him that taking him on the plane would just be too much trouble.

Panel 4: Since Mike still has emotions left, he cries and says that it's like putting him in jail.

Summary: It's sort of depressing to see that Mike is sad about leaving Farley behind. That being said, don't you just want to tell him that being in jail would be better than living with Elly?
