Snarky Candiru2

Saturday, 14 April 2012

We end the week with a reminder that Lynn approves of babysitters who act like scab foremen; we should also steel ourselves for a Lynnsight that chortles about her being a dumb, mean bully to her charges and damned proud of it.

(Strip Number 394, Original Publication Date, 23 April 1983)

Panel 1: Now that she and John are back, Elly apologizes for being a bit late before asking if the kids were good. She says they were fine.

Panel 2: Elly then says "So, you had no trouble baby-sitting?"; Paula says "Nope!!"

Panel 3: As she smirks and says that it's all about how you sit on'em, John smiles and Elly is confused.

Summary: The notes talk about how Lynn actually sat on a child for doing something anarchic and evil like talking or wanting a drink of water or something that would clearly lead to the overthrow of society. This, of course, is a reminder that no one should ever be on Mike and Lizzie's side because they hate their mother and are ungrateful and mean and hate to see their poor put-upon mother (who has noooooooo help and nooooooooo time to herself and will only be thanked for all her hard work years after she's died) happy at any point because children are evil and love CHAOS!!!!!!
