Snarky Candiru2

Thursday, 19 January 2012

Today's strip is about two things: the return trip from the gallery and the only other proper reaction to offsprings and small ones: pants-soiling terror.

(Strip Number 4281, Original Publication Date, 20 January 1983)

Panel 1: We find ourselves watching the hoverbus head back to school. One child is singing the "Batman smells" version of Jingle Bells, another is reacting to having his or her foot forcibly removed from a seat-mate's head, another is looking for his or her gum, a fourth is wondering when they'll be back at school and a fifth is car sick.

Panel 2: Now that they're back at school, their shell-shocked teacher looks at them in terror as they get off the bus.

Panel 3: Mike, who has no idea that his teacher is as WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAK as water, asks her "Aren't field trips fun?", notices that she didn't answer and asks again.

Summary: We can expect either a Little Lynnie show about how frail her teachers were or a screed about how Aaron tormented his teachers because, well, having her children do unto their teachers what she did to her own is bad because it makes her bad while her doing it was good because they told a cruel lie about how she didn't know everything.
Multnomah Falls: summer

Remember this?

Wasn't April singing this to herself at one time?  There's nothing like a piece of lint that won't go away. an old song.
