Snarky Candiru2

Wednesday, 30 November 2011

Lawrence shows us his true colors by denying any sort of responsibility for the fix Mike is in; then again, he's done so in the past when called on giving bad advice.

(Strip Number 4254, Original Publication Date, 1 December 1982)

Panel 1: As they walk home, Lawrence tells Mike that he never thought that he'd actually steal that scarf.

Panel 2: A baffled Mike asks him what he means by that; after all, it was his idea.

Panel 3: Lawrence walks off with a smug, wounded expression on his face as he tells Mike that it was his hands that did it.

Summary: What a lovely little friend Lawrence is, eh? He loves to dare Mike to do crazy shit like this but whenever called on it, he'll act like he's the injured party. Why it is that this is a recurring theme and why there's no tag for 'being dared' is something that needs to be covered.

ETA: By the way, Lynn has another silly banner for our perusal.

The podcast for 29 November 2011

Let's see how Lynn makes a hash of describing her not-that-creative process this week; also, let's see which new-ruin she pillages in the process.

In this week's webisode, she defends her habit of drawing hovercars; she does so by showing her interviewer the various toys she uses as reference materials and explaining to the best of her feeble ability how hard it is she finds drawing things from memory. Another category of things that she tends to forget are odd words like 'Volvo', 'Land Rover', 'Jeep', 'Mazda' and so on and so forth.

The Pattersons in 3D

The latest press release is about how Lynn is refurbishing the statues she'd had made of the Mid-Eighties Pattersons and had donated to the new hospital in North Bay. If you're a fan of Lynn mugging for the camera like the dopiest elementary school student ever, you'll love this one.
