Snarky Candiru2

Tuesday, 30 March 2010

Since we're in for an inferior version of the previously-used obedience school arc, let's remember how stupid, useless and lazy the Pattersons are for not making sure he remembers what they taught him. Let's also see how clear Lynn makes it that Elly never wanted a dog and is hoping to rid herself of him.

Panel 1: We start out with John holding onto Farley's leash and yelling "Farley! COME!!"; Farley's response is to sniff the ground.

Panel 2: We next see Farley jerk his head back in confusion as John yells "Farley? COME!" and pull on the leash.

Panel 3: John continues to pull Farley towards him.

Panel 4: John pats Farley on the head and says "Good boy"; Farley's response is to get all confused.

Summary: In what might be a first, John is actually doing something he's supposed to be doing; according to actual trainers who know what they're doing, he's teaching him that yelling "Farley, Come" doesn't mean that he'll be chained up. Since Lynn clearly means to mock the way John does things, it's sort of obvious that he'd be doing something right. The reason he fails to do so is, of course, that he's being sabotaged by his idiot wife.
