Bemused Candiru

Wednesday, 21 October 2009

Here we still are marking time until Strip Fix and the rest of the world are back in synchronicity and still wondering why this is a problem; it's odd but I think that this might generate more attention than the story itself.

The new-ruin that actually is on gocomics is a lot different from what I thought would be there:

Panel 1: Elly hugs Lizzie and tells her "You be good for Daddy, now....I'm going to my class." as Mike and Farley look on.

Panel 2: As the leaves fly in what have to be gale force winds, Elly hums to herself as she drives to the local University.

Panel 3: We next see her on the quad in the midst of a crowd of silhouettes; she smiles and thought-bubbles "Wow! Here I am on campus...and I feel the same way I did om my first day of University..."

Panel 4: Having entered the bulding where she'll be attending classes, she frowns as she thinks to herself "....completely lost."

Summary: We've discovered another reason why Elly didn't do all that well as a college girl: the exposure to too many new sights, sounds and cultural norms overloaded her brain.

If this also shows up on Strip Fix, we'll know that the crisis has passed.

And we're back in synch. For now.
