Snarky Candiru2

Wednesday, 24 June 2009

Let's see how Mike and Lizzie become ordinary children whose needs clash with those of their idiot motherintolerable burdens for their child-hating imbeciles who had them because they thought they had topoor misunderstood parents today.

Mike oppresses John by demanding the he reassure him.

Panel 1: We start out with John asking Mike why he's out of bed; Mike says he's thirsty and needs a glass of water.

Panel 2: We see a freaked-out Mike looking downstairs. John makes a garbled request to find out why ("Michael? What now?" to be specific) and Mike tells him he heard somethin' an' got scared.

Panel 3: John's attempt to console Mike (Leave your door open and your light on. We're here. You're safe. Everything's fine. Go to sleep) falls flat because of his testy delivery.

Panel 4: Mike yells Daddy and a zonked-out John asks what he wants now.

Panel 5: Apparently human contact; that's because we see a panicked little boy holding onto his confused, ticked-off dad for dear life.

Summary: It would probably kill John to show emotions; that's because his traditionalist upbringing mandates that Father look as if he were carved out of granite.

Lynn's Travel Journal.

The latest blog entry is a wall of text about Day one of Lynn's trip to Oaxaca, Mexico.

As expected, Lynn is the very model of the smug, ignorant tourist who complains about what the brown people do without caring to ask why. One is reminded of MASH's Major Burns who harrumphed that the Koreans had no excuse to be poor despite their country being bombed to crap in front of his eyes.
