Now that it looks as if Mike's story has been wrapped up for now, let's see which character Lynn intends to focus on to take us out of May. I'd like to see some closure on the saga of Jim and Iris but I'm not getting my hopes up. We could see more of the Delicate Genius or we could segue into flashbackery. We'll just have to see.

Panel 1: We see Elly driving April and Eva somewhere and for some reason Connie is riding shotgun. Elly asks if the two of them are comfortable in the back of the hovercar. April's answer: "Uh-huh."

Panel 2: Elly, ever a fan of stating the obvious, observes that since there's a lot of traffic, it's taking a lot of time to get downtown.

Panel 3: She then notices that April and Eva are being awfully quiet and asks if they have anything to say to one another.

Panel 4: April's response: "Not out loud" as she and Eva tickitappatextmessage each other. Oh, those naughty teenagers. Don't they know their supposed to develop TMJ from gossping like God intended instead of carpal tunnel syndrome with their weird, evil technology? I'd like to point out here that this situation is, to use the most polite word available, horseshit. Elly should be wishing that April and Eva would text message by now because then she wouldn't have to figure out (or know) what they're talking about. Instead, she's trapped in a comic strip written by an old woman who doesn't understand and thus fears today's world.

Hypothesis: Well, it looks as if April's the focus this week. Let's hope Elly tells her of John's plans before August.
