Foobs are easy to impress

Holy CRAP. My week to snark and all I have to start it off with is a lame flashback. Oh well, into the fray.

"Michael was smart and inquisitive...which often got him into trouble."

Now it must be pretty damn boring up there in Milborough, if the smartest thing Michael can do is turn a water faucet on and off. "See Mikey. See Mikey at the sink. See Mikey turn the handle. Turn, Mikey, turn." He's got the bathroom sink on, the kitchen sink, the laundry tub. The last panel is a very scalded John scooting out of the tub, looking like someone clamped his nuts in a vise.

My question is.... SO? Does this qualify as a reasonable flashback? No, of course not, that was a rhetorical question. It doesn't take much in the brain department to turn on a goddamn faucet, y'all. But this is Liz's favorite example of the scope of the brilliance of the Wonderful Genius: Mike was smart enough to turn all the water on and scald Dad's ass

Oh, it's DAD'S ass, another dig at Rod I see. And just where is loving, caring, hovering Elly the World's Bestest Mom? I can only assume she's in another corner of the house sticking the vacuum hose over her eyeball to see what is stuck in the hose. Yeah, that's where Mike gets his brilliance, all right.

I'll buy the inquisitive part. I imagine every time Bright Boy blinks his eyes it opens up a whole new world to him.

Holy cow, welcome to Hell Week. I just can't wait to see what kind of fawning over Saint Michael goes down tomorrow!
