So sorry I'm late!

"An'"s: One.

Panel 1: Okay, who's talking to who? ::Cookie squints at screen:: Ah, I think I see propeller-head on the person talking. And that looks like Eva next to her. So, April in the school cafeteria. But every junior Patterson has been saying the same thing, even the ones who would rather bitch about it than move out. Let's see what kind of reaction the person who really has no choice gets. Probably that she should just suck up and deal. (Also, one thing I was told in this situation was that, as a non-adult, I did not need personal space nearly as badly as an adult. Because adults have bigger problems. As if problems take up physical space.)

Panel 2: The Patterspawn use April's computer? I assume that just means randomly hitting the keyboard. It's not unheard of for a kid Merrie's age to be able to use a computer, but...this is Merrie. At any rate, that should not stand. No way, no how. Also, I wonder how the cafeteria makes that fluid pizza.

Panel 3: They finally let her say it!

Panel 4: Oops. Did not see that coming. Well, at least we don't get the full-faced goggle-eyed-amazement expression. And at least Luis is still able to have sympathy for April, instead of saying, "Big deal; you don't know what REAL problems are." And we now know his purpose in the strip: to meet the PC quota, now that the noble natives are out of the picture.
