"Quotes": I'll allow "I guess", since Gerald is quoting April.

Panel 1: Okay, at this point, there's no excuse for not showing us Liz's reaction. You can rationalize that she was busy with this or that, or in Mtig, when others were at the hospital, but to leave her out entirely is ridiculous. One would think that they'd seize this opportunity to justify her moving back home, but they don't even do that.

Also, there' a joke somewhere about "What's up; you look down", but I wouldn't want to hear it in FOOB, anyway. To me, Gerald's fake gangsta talk is the joke, although I'm sure it was not intentional.

Panel 2: What? [Sheila Broslowski]Whatwhatwhaaaat?![/SB] This is beyond insensitive. Yeah, we're probably supposed to see it as Gerald offering comfort in distraction, but it doesn't come off that way to me. A thoughtful person would ask, "You okay?" or something along those lines, then tentatively ask, "Do you still want to come to practice; it might cheer you up." Gerald's just pushing ahead with what he wants to talk about, and to do. What. A. Dick.

Panel 3: Dropped Gs are worse than "an'"s. Gerald, you are so not down. And how dare you get impatient. Don't give me The Show Must Go On, either; you're acting as there's no reason at all why April wouldn't be interested in practicing.

Panel 4: Again, I'll allow Rebecca-without-an-H, because they submitted this strip before the retcons went up. Still, ditto my above comments.

Panel 5: Oh. Man. Thinking about US had better be thinking about how there will BE no more US. If April lets Gerald, the Self-Absorbed Junior Mike, push her around like this, I may have to stop defending her. I mean, if this is not going to break them up, then what is the fracking point of today's strip?
