The one where we're reminded that Elly isn't really good with anything mechanical.
Synopsis: We start off with Lynn dating the strip by having Elly use a phone booth to call John for a ride because her battery is kaput. After picking Elly up at the library, John expresses disbelief that she'd want to trade in her old Utilitarian Box Of Blandness for a new Mom-Mobile after a semi-complete overhaul. When he asks her what kind she wants, he's astonished when she says she wants one that runs.
Summary: This is because he was expecting her to say "a later-model station wagon by the same manufacturer".
