Synopsis: When going over the family's books for the year, John talks about all of the things they've spent money on. When reminded of April, he disappoints Elly by thinking of her as a tax deduction first and a child last or something.
Summary: It's fairly obvious that the one great big reason that John "White Person Problems Made Flesh" Pattersons insists on doing his own taxes is so that he has something to beat his children over the head with when they come to him with actual problems. He needs to be corrected. He needs a kick to the head.
