The one where Liz is made out to be a foolish child overreacting to a helpful impulse of loving parents. Given the end result and the motive behind it, it's another example of the kids being smarter than the pea-brains pretending to raise them.

Synopsis: John ambushes Liz with the news that sucking her thumb is a horrible problem that (tinka tinka tinka) needs correction with an appliance. When told (tinka tinka tinka) that she'll barely notice the appliance she can't avoid having jammed in her mouth by a godless idiot, Liz pictures herself in braces of orthodontic overkill.
