Panel 1: We find ourselves watching Dan, Arnold and Mike driving into town. As they do so, Mike tells Danny "Hey, slow down, will ya? Check out the mustard in that field over there! It looks like it's gonna take over half the crop!'
Panel 2: He continues on by saying "Wheat there's pretty good, mind you. Heads're lookin'bout ready to cut...lotsa grasshoppers this year though an'spray doesn't do too much to hoppers."
Panel 3: As he moseys to the post office to be told to read between the lines, Mike says if the wind keeps up like this, they'll lose half the crop before calling Danny's attention to the fact that the cowling on the tractor is loose.
Panel 4: After Mike absents himself, Arnold tells Danny it's a good thing he's doing, sending that city kid home with an education.
Summary: If Lynn's aunt is mentioned again, it will probably be here. This is so Lynn can boast that people don't learn anything useful flipping burgers or learning how to use a cash register. Also, all Mike's education is good for is to spray a gloss of plausibility over his literary mantelpiece.
