The one where Gordon is a great big freaking hypocrite utterly lacking in self-awareness.

(Original Publication Date, 12 July 1991)

Panel 1: We find Mike, Martha and Gordon sitting on the front porch. When she asks Mike if he's really going to Manitoba, he pretends like it's no big deal that his parents acted in bad faith. Working on the farm won't be so bad and he really misses his uncle Dan.

Panel 2: When she asks if he'll miss her, he says Uh-huh. She then asks how much he'll miss her.

Panel 3: For once in his life, he actually sounds like a boy talking to his girlfriend and says "You tell me how much you'll miss me and I'll tell you how much I'll miss you." This causes Gordon to gag for some reason.

Panel 4: When Mike asks if this is a wave goodbye, Gordon says it's a wave of nausea.

Summary: This is because Lynn thinks that people don't want to see Mike acting like he actually likes this girl but do want to see hormone attacks. She is a very troubled woman.
