The one in which Elly thought-bubbles that people used to be glad to help a woman with a stroller.

(Original Publication Date, 20 June 1991)

Panel 1: Now that Elly is about to head back to her car with her purchases, she finds that the way is blocked by a Milborough Mutant talking to his girlfriend. She says "AHEM!!!" to point out the fact that she has a full shopping cart and a stroller.

Panel 2: In real life, people would get out of the way. Since Elly is the victim of all victims surpassing all others, he continues to stand there so that Elly can ask if one of them could open the door for her.

Panel 3: As he does so, he makes a mildly jocose remark about the door being voice activated. Elly grudgingly thanks him.

Panel 4: She then thought-bubbles that when the last man helped her, it was automatic.

Summary: If I didn't know Lynn didn't have a third child, a strip like this would tell me that she didn't have a third child. People still rush to help someone pushing a pram....even if they do think the baby's aunt is sitting for the day.
