Panel 1: Having left the restaurant, Elly notes that it's past ten which means that they're later than she'd thought they'd be.
Lynn is probably going to use this to silence people who think that the gossip machine wasn't told the truth by saying "Elly and John were waylaid by the jackassery of people playing Telephone."
Panel 2: Since she vaguely remembers that Mike needs a spotter to breathe, she points out that they should have called home because April isn't used to a bottle.
Panel 3: John reassures her based on two facts not in evidence. Mike is not a smart kid nor can he find a way to make April happy.
Panel 4: We prove this when we see him watching the clock with a horrified look on his stupid face while holding a howling April and trying to get her to accept the bottles she's refused because he never bothered reading the instructions by exposing her to a botulism risk.
Summary: We shall see if Lynn comments on the fact that Mike can never be a house-anything. I doubt it but I would like to see it. She's far more likely to comment on the scandalous things girls get away with these days next Monday.
