Panel 1: We start things off with Farley watching as Beaumont scratches the Hell out of the sofa. For some reason, Farley doesn't bark his fool head off and make Fiona hate him even more than she already does.
Panel 2: We find Beaumont on top of the china cabinet doing what cats do: clearing the perches they find of the meaningless objects that get in the way of their rest.
Panel 3: Now that Beaumont actually IS prowling Elly's kitchen, Farley finally barks his head off at him.
Panel 4: This leads to Fiona pointing at him and blaming the mess on the mutt scaring her poor, sweet, misunderstood kitty-cat.
Summary: Again, John should have asked important questions like "We have a dog. Will that be a deal-killer?" instead of jumping off into a vortex of non-planning because he doesn't realize that being family doesn't stop someone from being a jerk.
