Panel 1: As Mike pours himself a glass of milk, Liz tells him that this has to be the most exciting night in her life as she actually saw her sister being born.
Panel 2: She held her in her arms before they even bathed her. She heard her first cry.
Panel 3: She then sets up the withering put-down by saying that at first, she wasn't sure she even wanted a baby sister but now that she's here, she can't imagine wanting to be without her. Mike starts to remind us who he is when he says that he knows the feeling.
Panel 4: Ugly Brother walks away from her as he says that he felt like that about Liz herself once. Since she can't remember the past any better than Elly can, this astonishes her.
Summary: Liz's enthusiasm for being an older sister has a half-life of half an hour. By May, she'll be kicking a baby toy in an attempt to appeal to sympathetic magic.
