Panel 1: We start off in the middle of a story. That's because as Mike moans in pain about the open wound on his scalp, a freaked-out Lawrence asks him if he's going to be okay.
Panel 2: He looks at the blood on his hands and says that he thinks so.
Panel 3: When Mike walks in the house, we're reminded that this is the Sundayverse when Elly is as freaked out and worried as Lawrence is.
Panel 4: She tells him that the cut is deep enough that it'll require stitches.
Panel 5: We next see them at the front door of the ER.
Panel 6: Since the attending physician who asks Mike what he was doing to get that wound looks like Phil, I'll call him Dr Allen. Mike tells him that he was riding his bike.
Panel 7: As he finishes stitching up Mike's scalp, Dr Allen sets up the punchline by asking him why he didn't wear a bike helmet.
Panel 8: When we're shown that the doctor had to shave the area to put in the stitches, Mike's comment about how he didn't wanna mess up his hair is rather sickeningly ironic.
Summary: Since this is the Sundayverse, Mike might actually learn something from this. What I learned is something I already know: Lynn loves facile moralizing.
