Panel 1: We launch right into the arc when we find ourselves in a classroom watching the teacher (a Mrs Wellsley) tell her students that each of them is going to have a different geography question for homework that evening.
Panel 2: As Liz dozes away like so much Peppermint Patty, Mrs Wellsley starts assigning students their assignments. Russell is asked how large Lake Superior is, Jane is asked what our smallest province is, Corey is asked to find out what river Montreal is on and Elizabeth, well, she's been hypnotized by the blurry mess she sees on the blackboard and has fallen asleep.
Panel 3: This means that Mrs She's A Fink has to bellow the following question: "Elizabeth Patterson!! Would you rather sleep or learn geography?!"
Panel 4: We next find Liz at the principal's office guessing that she answered wrong.
Summary: This sort of thing is why Mike made that odd comment about Liz wanting to be a good teacher because she was a terrible student. I don't know how not being able to see what she reads has anything to do with her being bored out of her mind but Lynn has to assign Liz Aaron's vision problem somehow.
