Panel 1: We start things off with Elly loading the dishwasher and asking if anyone has any more dishes to go in it before she turns it on.
Panel 2: Since no one has said anything, she turns on the dishwasher.
Panel 3: Suddenly, it's one hour later. For some reason, a confused-looking John holds a coffee cup in his hand when he comes upon an unattended load of what he doesn't know are freshly cleaned dishes.
Panel 4: He then dumps it into the machine because he doesn't know that he's inconveniencing her. As far as he knows, she hasn't even begun yet because he might not even have been at home back when she loaded the blasted thing.
Summary: If I know Elly the way I do, she'll think that John did all of this deliberately to make work for her because she can't admit that he didn't hear her. We see this again tomorrow when Liz has no damned idea that I JUST CLEANED THOSE WINDOWS, HOW COULD YOU BE SO THOUGHTLESS?!
