I don't know what it is with the extraneous panels lately. Either the panel with Edgar yawning, or the one where he gets up and walks, could be sacrificed without losing the thread of the story, such as it is. And why bring Dixie into it? Edgar caused enough mess on his own. (Unless Dixie is Elly's familiar: being female, she disapproves of Edgar's actions as much as Elly disapproves of what she thought John did?)

"Galoop galorp". I think that was a game, back in the '70s. No wait; it was called "Gnip gnop". Ne'min'.

Jesus H! Do we really need to see Elly scratching her ass?! Another unnecessary panel, even if she was just walking. I also didn't need that closeup of Edgar after he'd slaked his thirst. Really.

And John gets busted for something a pet did. Yawnnnn, indeed.
