Our old friends Unfeasibly Large Pile Of Toys Spread All Over Everywhere and Raccoon Paw Print On A Flat Surface join Connie in making the statement that ambulatory children mean chaos and a mess Mommy cannot keep up with because evil children hate their mothers' free time and feast on their sorrow.

(Strip Number 5151, Original Publication Date, 4 July 1989)

Panel 1: We have a wide-angle shot of Elly and Connie looking at a very messy living room. As we behold the toys all over everywhere and the stains and raccoon paw prints all over flat surfaces, Connie says "Well....I see Elizabeth's walking now!" because WE MOMS know that children just race around making messes for us to pick up because they're ungrateful and cruel and selfish and hate us and all the other self-serving bullshit Lynn and Jan Eliot spout.

Summary: This is a sort of remix of Elly beholding another implausible mess and lamenting "But...I only gave her ONE cookie!"; the lack of patience with children and tendency to overestimate the difficulty of housework inform both strips.
