(Strip Number 5147, Original Publication Date, 7 June 1989)
Panel 1: Since no one wants to play badminton with her, Liz sits on the ground feeling sorry for herself because, as she thought-bubbles, there's nothin'to do and she's BORED. As she does so, we notice that something is dripping on her head. I'd like to think that Liz is sitting there inertly letting the sprinkler soak her for hours on end but then I'm not Lynn and have an adult sense of humor and a certain level of sympathy for the character.
Panel 2: When she finally notices the problem, she looks up and sees something that horrifies her.
Panel 3: We zoom out to see her yell "AAAAUGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!! DOG DROOL!!!!!!!!!!" because Farley has been drooling on her for God knows how long.
Panel 4: She washes her hair using the faucet the garden hose attaches to and thought-bubbles "Never trust warm rain!"
Summary: Any notes will not be about how passive Elizabeth is because the nasty little child responsible for this appalling mess will say "I fooled you!!! You thought the dog whizzed on her!!!!"
