Panel 1: We find Liz at the badminton net asking why no one wants to play badminton with her.
Panel 2: Mike comes along and volunteers to do so. She says "Good" before launching into the catch.
Panel 3: We zoom out to see the condition she sets on his participation: retrieving the birdies she launched onto the roof because she holds the racket like she's the creation of a woman with a persistent and long-term inability to make the least sense of what she sees when she watches any sort of sporting event. Mike's reaction to the prospect of retrieving them is going goggle-eyed in horror.
Panel 4: Since his response was to refuse to play and then flee, she goes back to yelling about why no one wants to play badminton with her. The difference is that she's much angrier now because people are mean and don't want her to play or something.
Summary: My guess is that we're in for a Little Lindy show that explains her antipathy towards sports in general: evil people who hate her tell her she's bad at something she found boring to begin with.
