(Strip Number 5130, Original Publication Date, 15 May 1989)
Panel 1: We start things off with Elly wincing in irritation because some unpleasant person who hates her is bouncing something against the wall of her sewing room and thus interrupting her sewing.
Panel 2: Since Lynn is biologically incapable of making sense of what she sees when she watches sports, we find Elly yelling at Mike to find somewhere else to bounce his basketball.
Panel 3: Since she doesn't remember that she actually has to tell someone as dim-brained as Michael that she means "Somewhere where you're not going to disturb me", she is shocked when Mike bounces the ball against a different wall.
Summary: Elly never seems to have quite realized that people can't read her mind. Even unto the latest of days, she gets pointlessly upset that she cannot give a vague and confusing order and get what she wants.
