(Strip Number 1425, Original Publication Date, 21 February 1989)
Panel 1: We find Christopher and Richard gulping down pop and chips that they probably aren't supposed to have. I've no idea if he's telling the truth when he tells Mike that Mommy allows them to indulge if they can't sleep but I know which way I'd lean. (Hint....he's lying.)
Panel 2: When Mike tells him that they aren't supposed to have them, Christopher snatches the bag back and yells "GIMME!!!" because he cares not for what Mommy told the boy next door, he wants his chips anyway.
Panel 3: We then see the big Ball Of Violence that doesn't actually hurt children no matter how much the haters who feast on Lynn's suffering say otherwise.
Panel 4: Next, the three of them are on the couch watching "The Thing From Radio Shack" on Family Theatre eating pop and chips so Mike can thought-bubble about how he's read about how prisoners of war sometimes side with the enemy.
Summary: Today's strip is the last part of her angrily huffing and puffing about the monster children who got between her and cake. Tomorrow, we have two days of her teenaged self yelling "Oh, ICK! ICK!!!" because of having to change a diaper for the first time.
