We plod mercilessly on with the rip-off of Porky's when we're reminded that the people Mike hangs out with are rather eager to throw him under the bus.

(Strip Number 1328, Original Publication Date, 5 August 1988)

Panel 1: We find ourselves in Seniors Cabin B as Lawrence tells the lads that there's a hole in the girls' shower and that it's too good to be true. (Hint: since real adults aren't stupid, it is.)

Panel 2: For reasons I'm about to allude to in my summation, they volunteer Mike (who tells Lawrence not to push so hard) to get in the first look.

Panel 3: We see why he didn't want them to push so hard when he starts to panic because he thinks he's stuck.

Panel 4: As he asks the guys to help a brother out, we find that Bob is glaring angrily at his dumb ass while his 'pals' are long gone.

Summary: Once again, we're reminded of something Mike really hates when he has to remember it: he's what they call "the friend nobody likes." Lawrence and Brian don't mind dropping him into a mess because he's a surly jerk who gets them into trouble they don't need but hang out with him anyway because they've known him for a long time.
