(Strip Number 1306, Original Publication Date, 21 June 1988)
Panel 1: Mike interrupts John mid-renovation to tell him that Phil is here.
Panel 2: When Phil asks John what he's doing, John explains that Elly decided that she needed a new kitchen.
Panel 3: Phil says that this is the great thing about being a home owner: one can change things like this at will
Panel 4: Phil reminds us that he's 'selfish' and 'immature' when he thought-bubbles that he's glad he and Georgia are renting.
Summary: Lynn seems hell-bent on depicting Phil as a terrible, immature and selfish husband who denies Georgia good things that she deserves because he's immature for the good reason that she's almost as fond of Alan as she is of her mother and as willing to forgive him for being born and thus stealing her childhood as she is her mother for always REALLY hating her no matter what people tell her.
