We begin the week with Lizzie having to be reassured that one day, she could have her friends over for a sleepover because Mike doesn't want her cramping his style.

(Strip Number 1287, Original Publication Date, 30 April 1988)

Panel 1: Because Mike told Lizzie that she's not part of his slumber party, we find ourselves watching John having to console Teary-Eyed Lizzie and tell her that those are Michael's sleepover friends and that he probably didn't want his little sister hanging around.

Panel 2: She still isn't buying it when he says that someday, it'll be her turn to have her friends over for one because that means being told where she cannot go.

Panel 3: As Elly looks in on Lizzie and finds that she's surrounded by her dolls, John tells her that he guesses Lizzie couldn't wait for some day.'

Summary: Just as we never see the Danny and his family visit the Pattermanse as promised this December, we never see Lizzie have a slumber party because someone only has thirty seconds. Aside from that, this is a relatively nice strip.
