Melody Morrison is mentioned for the last time when Lizzie destroys Elly's life by saying that other tooth fairies are more generous than the one who visited her.

(Strip Number 1271, Original Publication Date, 24 March 1987)

Panel 1: Elly thinks that the crisis she fears has been averted when a happy Lizzie tells her that the Tooth Fairy came after all and says how nice that is.

Panel 2: Elly gets ready for a different crisis when Lizzie speculates that there's more than one Tooth Fairy in the world.

Panel 3: When Lizzie hopes that she gets a different one next time, Elly asks her why.

Panel 4: She's not happy when Lizzie says that the one that visited Melody Morrison paid HER fifty cents while the one that came to Casa Foob only hands out quarters.

Summary: This means that Elly will drive herself bonkers worrying about an outsider making Lizzie lose faith and turning her back on love and happiness and so on and so forth.
