Panel 1: When Lizzie asks for a hot dog, Elly reminds her that she just ate.
Panel 2: She then tells Lizzie that she's just eating because she's bored and that's a bad habit to get into. Lizzie meekly says "Oh" in response.
Panel 3: She then asks Elly what she does when there's nothin'else to do.
Panel 4: She gets her answer because we find Elly in the canteen buying two hot dogs and asking the woman behind the counter to throw on the works.
Summary: Between eating out of boredom and gorging herself on leftovers, it's not much of a stretch to call Elly a cautionary example as regards bad eating habits.
