We start a micro-arc about Lynn's incompatibility with organized education when Lizzie wants her teacher to praise her creativity instead of criticizing her for not doing the assigned project.

(Strip Number 1404, Original Publication Number, 11 January 1988)

Panel 1: We find Lizzie in class determinedly pummeling a block of clay.

Panel 2: Her frantic poking of said clay attracts her teacher's attention.

Panel 3: When said teacher (a Mrs Kinney by name) tries to draw attention to the fact that she's not making a coiled pot like her classmates, Lizzie says she knows that.

Panel 4: When she cheerily declares that she's making art, Mrs Kinney is dumbfounded.

Summary: Should there be notes, we should prepare ourselves for Lynn congratulating herself for not being a mindless sheep too good to be true type who somehow always got better grades and more respect despite paying attention in class and doing exactly what he or she is told to do.
