(Strip Number 6713 , Original Publication Date, 10 January 1988)
Panel 1: We start off with Lizzie rooting through a box of doll clothes like John looking for his car keys.
Panel 2: She then just dumps it on the floor because she's evil and remembers that despite what Mommy might say, things actually do pick themselves up.
Panel 3: As Mike clutters up the floor cutting up paper, Lizzie plays with the dog.
Panel 4: They then demonstrate their eternal and undying desire to stab Elly in the heart by slouching down into the couch and eating popcorn while plopping their feet on the coffee table.
Panel 5: Lizzie cruelly and selfishly uses her water colour set instead of being a nice little girl who is grateful to the mother she loves and leaving it in the box forever.
Panel 6: As if that were not cruel enough, MIKE IS DRINKING SODA AND HE LET FILTHY, FILTHY, HAIRY FARLEY SIT ON THE COUCH WITH HIM!!!!
Panel 7: Lizzie tells Mike that she doesn't know why Mom and Dad call the room they're in the family room.
Panel 8: As we survey what Lynn sees when less fragile people see a tiny bit of clutter, Lizzie says that for some reason, John and Elly never want to use the family room.
Summary: A regular person would have probably sat the kids down at regular intervals and pushed the message that since they weren't going to be able to rely on someone picking up after them, it meant that they had to shape up. Not-at-all normal person Lynn is still pissed that she can't do something like this and get results.
