Panel 1: We find John at the clinic dealing with an angry little boy named Jeffrey who makes a point of not opening his mouth even though John's just doing exploratory work today.
Panel 2: Next up is teenaged Melissa who took a pair of pliers to her braces because they felt uncomfortable instead of phoning her dentist to get them checked like she's supposed to.
Panel 3: As he washes up, Jean tells him that since there've been a couple of cancellations, he should maybe close up early. He says "Early?" as a means of asking why.
Panel 4: She notices that he's sleep-walking and says that something tells her that he needs to get out of the office for his own good.
Summary: I wonder what Rod's patients thought when they saw this. They might have thought that their dentist didn't like them and didn't want to be a dentist. This is because they don't know his vindictive, insane and selfish wife too well. Lucky them.
